Answer:

Ratchet- To rotate the screw by turning it so that the object is gently held between the shud and spindle of the screw.

Sleeve- To mark main scale and base line.

Thimble- To mark circular scale.

Main scale- To read length correct up to 1mm.

Circular scale- Helps to read length correct up to 0.01mm.
