Can someone please give me the answers+explanation for 1-4 or if you’re feeling generous 1-6? I really need help. If no one is answering and you can’t do 1-4 can you at LEAST give me a explanation on how to do this?

since they are both equal to 'y', you can eliminate the y but letting the value of y equal to each other

if they are not both equal to 'y', then solve the equation by putting y itself on 1 side

1. sub y=-2x into 2nd equation

-2x = 3x + 25

then solve for x

-5x = 25

x= -5

2.

y-2 =12x

y = 12x +2

(sub this equation into y=x+2)

12x + 2 = x + 2

11x = 4

x = 4/11
