inversely proportional
to the amount of days required
Here
:
6 workers construct 10 m long wall in 4 days
Then, for 2 workers to construct the
same length
, it will take 3 times the amount of time as number of men has been divided by 3
2 workers to construct 10 m long wall = 4 x 3 = 12 days
For them to construct 15 m long wall, multiply the number of days by 1.5 as 10 x 1.5 = 15
No. of days for 2 workers to construct 15 m long wall :
12 x 1.5 =
18 days
