Find a, b, and c. Then plug them into the quadratic formula.

1. Move the linear and the constant terms to the left, to make the quadratic equal to 0.

2. Identify the a, b, and c as being the coefficients of the quadratic, linear, and constant terms, respectively.

3. Plug in the values.
