Answer:Make the denominators the same

Explanation:

find the least common denominator

As in find there least common multiple

Then multiply both numerators and denominators to find the common multipl

Example:

2/8 multiples: 8,16,24

5/6 multiples:6,12,18,24

Least common multiple is 24

So 8*3=24

2*3=6

So 2/8=6/24

6*4= 24

5*4=20

So 5/6=20/24

Then you subtract 20/24 by 6/24

Then your done:)

Hoped this helped:)
