What is y=x^2-9x+20 I need the answer for this while I'm still learning this slowly

x=5 x=4

Explanation:

y=x^2-9x+20

Set equal to zero

0 =x^2-9x+20

Factor

What two numbers multiply to 20 and add to -9

-5*-4 = 20

-5+-4 = -9

0=(x-5) (x-4)

Using the zero product property

x-5 =0 x-4 =0

x=5 x=4
