Two figures have the same area. The first figure is a parallelogram with a base of 10 feet and a height of 19 feet. The second figure is a right triangle with a leg of 28 feet. Find the length of the other leg of the right triangle. Round to the nearest tenth of a foot.

Answer: The other leg is 6.787

Explanation:

The area of the parallelogram is 190 feet. So you would do 28/2=14 next you would do 190/14=13.574. You would then do 13.574/2=6.787.
