Harry is treated differently from Dudley in the Dursley household.

What message do you think the author wants to convey about what
is fair? Is it fair that Harry is punished when he threatens Dudley
with magic? Describe a time when you have been treated unfairly in
your own life.

Answer:

The message that the author is trying to convey by this is that not everybody is treated equal when they should be. There are favorites and least favorites. Many people don't realize that some kids are treated unfairly while others are put up on a pedestal. No I don't think that it is fair that Harry is punished when he threatens Dudley with magic, could he have handled it differently, yes I think so. But you also need to see that Dudley was a bully and Harry had come to his last resorts. I am often held at a lower position in my family because I have not accomplished as much as some of my other family members. Being treated different sucks but unfourtantly it is a part of life.
