The area (A) of a kite is calculated as

(1)/(2) × d₁ × d₂ ( d₁ and d₂ are the diagonals )

Here A = 900 and d₁ = 25, thus


(1)/(2) × 25 × d₂ = 900 ( multiply both sides by 2 )

25d₂ = 1800 ( divide both sides by 25 )

d₂ = 72 cm
