Roosevelt’s main objective in his four freedoms speech was to change the minds of Americans and convince them that they should get involved in the world war, he also wanted to convince Americans that they should help the British against their common enemies, at the same time though, Roosevelt also wanted to warn any enemies without outright declaring war on them or making them feel like they have to attack the U.S. Roosevelt wanted to inform the British that he is behind them without outright saying it. Roosevelt wanted to move Americans by talking about the four freedoms everybody should have and how that’s only gonna happen if America starts making some changes and getting involved in this war.
