  • Step one If we want to find the smallest even number we have to find out what the smallest number is first. So A trick I have learned is when you have the biggest number the smallest number is just the biggest number backwards. so if it was 9754 the smallest number is 4579.
  • Step two since this is an odd number we have to make the last number of the smallest number even. To do so we have to take the smallest even number which is 4 and out it at the end. We also have to keep the number at it's smallest.
  • Step 3 is to rewrite the Answer. Now we have four at the end our new number is 5794
