\huge{\boxed{\tt{Solution:}}}

In First Question :

We know that measure of straight angle is 180°.

\sf{5x + 13x= 180 \: \: [By \: linear \: pair]}

\bf{\therefore{Answer\:is\:(c)\:5x + 13x= 180.}}

In Second Question :

We know that two angles are said to be complementary if sum of both angles is 90°.

\sf{ : \implies { \angle a +\angle b = {90}^(\circ)}} \\ \\ \sf{ : \implies { \angle{{32}^(\circ)+{\angle {b = {90}^(\circ)}}}}} \\ \\ \sf{ : \implies {\angle b = \angle{{(90 -32 )}^(\circ)}}} \\ \\ \sf{ : \implies {\angle b = {58}^(\circ)}}

\bf{\therefore{The\:measure\:of\:{\angle b}\:is\: {{58}^(\circ)}.}}
