The method that seems easiest to me is elimination, I will multiply the 2nd equation by 4 so that the coefficients of c in both equations are equal.

Now the 2nd equation is: 8c + 20t = $132.

Now subtract the 2nd equation from the first equation.

8c - 8c = 0.

3t - 20t = -17t.

30 - 132 = -102. The equation is now -17t = -102. Divide both sides by -17 and you get:

t = 6. So 6 is how much each table costs.

Now, we plug in 6 for t in either equation; I'll just pick the first one bc idk.

8c + 3(6) = 30.

8c + 18 = 30.

Subtract 18 from both sides.

8c = 12.

Divide both sides by 8.

c = 1.5.
