Answer:

First of all I'd like to say that this question isn't stupid. These type of questions help you reason and understand from text. You'll understand better when you grow up.

Answer is 36

Explanation:

The product of 2 and the square root of 3 (
2√(3)) and 3 and the square root of 12 (
3√(12)) in simplified form is...

(2√(3))(3√(12))

Multiply the numbers outside the square roots and the numbers under the square roots.

2*3√(3*12)

6√(36)

36 can be rewritten as 4*9

4 can be rewritten as 2*2 or
2^2

9 can be rewritten as 3*3 or
3^2

Rewriting this will leave us with

6√(2^2*3^2)

Each of these numbers come out of the square root and are multiplied by the number outside of it.

6*2*3

36

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another way of looking at this is, the square root of 36 is 6; multiply it by the 6 outside of it and you get 36
