Since it gives you the value of y already, all you need to do is plug it into the equation, like so:

y = -3x + 4

1 = -3x + 4

Now, subtract 4 from both sides:

1 = -3x + 4

-4 - 4

-3 = -3x

Finally, divide both sides by -3:

-3 = -3x

1 = x

So now you have, x = 1 and y = 1.
