limit of f of x as x approaches negative 10 where f of x equals negative 4 minus x when x is less than negative 10, 6 when x equals negative 10, and x plus 16 when x is greater than negative 10

Answer:

Explanation:

From the left: f(x) = x + 10 (for x < 8), as x --> 8, f(x) --> 18

From the right: f(x) = 10 - x (for x >= 8), as x --> 8, f(x) --> 2

Since the limits on either side do not converge to the same point, the limit does not exist
