What is the midpoint of the x intercepts of f(x)= (x-4) (x+4)

(0,16) or just 0 horizontally

Explanation:

The x intercepts would be found by first setting these equations to equal zero!


x-4=0\\x+4=0

Now we can add/subtract to solve for the zeros of the function!


x+4=0\\-4\\x=-4\\\\x-4=0\\+4\\x=4

The mid-point between 4 and negative 4 is 0, so the vertex is at (4,-16)!
