In the book The Secret Garden there is a girl named Mary. She lived in India until both her parents passed away she is sent to live with an uncle. During her stay she meets a very ill boy. He cannot walk and is constantly afraid of dying. During the story Mary discovers a secret garden long since locked away, she also helps the Colin surprise Master Craven by helping him learn to walk again. Master Craven is so s surprised and happy that he becomes a more cheery soul.
