Answer:

m<-139

Explanation:

m+14<-125

subtract 14 from both sides

m<-125-14

m<-139

I am not sure if this is right but this is what I thought

Hey there!

m + 14 < -125

SUBTRACT 14 to BOTH SIDES

m + 14 - 14 < -125 - 14

CANCEL out: 14 - 14 because it gives you 0

KEEP: -125 - 14 because it help you solve for the m-value

NEW EQUATION: m < -125 - 14

SIMPLIFY IT!

m < -139

DIVIDE 1 to BOTH SIDES

1m/1 < -139/1

CANCEL out: 1/1 because it gives you 1

KEEP: -139/1 because it help you with the number that is being compared to the m-value

NEW EQUATION: m < -139/1

SIMPLIFY IT!

m < -139

Therefore, your answer should be:

[m < -139]; it is an OPEN circle shaded to the LEFT starting at -139 (of course)

Based on the choices you have provided… NONE OF THE ABOVE will most likely be the actual choice because they are way too big/small

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
