Several places across the United States and elsewhere in the Western Hemisphere have built a wide variety of monuments to memorialize the experiences of enslaved people. These monuments provide places for people to gather and reflect on this important aspect of history. Do some research on some of these monuments. Look at some photos and read about them. Here are some internet resources to get you started: Emancipation Park e Revealing Histories Write down some of your impressions of these monuments, including: Are the locations and settings, sizes and composition similar or different? How are people in these monuments viewed by the artists who created the monuments? What is the overall feeling you get when you see these monuments? Type your response here. .

Hello, a little birdie told me the answer so here!

Sample Answer: Locations and sizes are pretty different. In Kingston, Jamaica and Houston, Texas, the monuments are included in large parks. In London, they are smaller monuments including only statues or sculptures. In the Caribbean, the monuments are dedicated more to leaders of revolts than to enslaved peoples. The people shown in the monuments are shown as brave and strong. The sculpture in Delaware, Unwavering Courage in the Pursuit of Freedom, shows enslaved peoples determined to escape to find their freedom.I feel glad that we ended slavery, and that we honor the people who struggled to escape it and end it.

Make sure to reword it!

Answer:

Hey! Answer is right below, feel free to make any sort of changes!

Step-by-step explanation:

The locations and sizes of places around the world are all different. In a place such as Houston, Texas, there are statues or stones with writings on them that are inside of large parks. If you visited the Caribbean you would see these monuments but instead of anyone who made a change, they only honored those who weren't enslaved. People who are shown in these monuments are people who where courageous and tough. Some might show how they got freedom, rights, and even equality. When I see these monuments it reminds me of how brave these people were and why I should pay respects to the people who fought back and escaped from their pain and suffering.
