A bug is 1.2 cm up a wall and climbs up 1.7 cm each second. Another bug is 30 cm up the wall and climbs down 1.5 cm per second. After how many seconds will the bugs be the same height?

1.2 cm + ( 9 × 1.7 cm ) = 16.5 cm

30 cm - ( 9 × 1.5 cm ) = 16.5 cm

So the answer is 9 seconds!
