Answer:

The median is 5.

Explanation:

First we must arrange them in order.

3, 3, 5, 5, 7, 9

we must cross out the numbers to find the middle number so,

we cross the beginning and last number which in this is case is 3 and 9

3, 5, 5, 7

we must do the same thing we did so in this case the beginning is 3 and 7 is the end so we must cross them out

5,5

we have two numbers and no number in the middle

in this case we add the 2 numbers together so,

5 + 5 = 10

then we must divide the answer by 2

10/2 = 5

So, the median is 5

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

median = 5

Explanation:

The median is the middle value of the data arranged in ascending order. If there is no exact value in the middle then it is the average of the 2 values on either side, that is

3 , 3 , 5 , 5 , 7 , 9

↑ middle

median =
(5+5)/(2) =
\frac{10}2} = 5
