Choice-B is correct, but only halfway. This weird drawing appears to show TWO waves travelling through the same medium.

-- The big wavy line is a transverse wave, with amplitude=30cm and wavelength=110cm.

-- The short vertical lines are placed where the medium is squished, with thin spread out regions between them. This is a longitudinal wave, with amplitude=5cm and wavelength=10cm.

This could be the picture of a sound wave zipping along through the top of a train of 30cm waves on the lake.
