-2x + 7y = 9....(**)

by(*) and (**) calculate 7y

7y = 2-5x

7y = 9+2x

9+2x = 2-5x

2x+5x = 2-9

7x=-7 so : x= - 1

put this value in expression : 7y = 9+2x

7y = 9+2(-1)

7y =7

y =1

conclusion one solution (-1 , 1)
