How do marine plants get energy?

Explain in terms of how sunlight, water and carbon dioxide is absorbed for photosynthesis ( mention the location of stomata when compared to how photosynthesis occurs in a plant that grows on land).

Hey there!

There are very less number of plants in seas or oceans, the things which we see under ocean is seaweed or any organism.

Marine plants are like sea grass, there aquire sunlight from the sun. They are not so deep so they can easily do the process of Photosynthesis.

☆ Process of Photosynthesis in plants,

  • The leaves of a plant play a major role in the process of Photosynthesis.
  • The stomata is located in the leaves of a plant,it helps a plant to absorb sunlight.
  • When a plant takes carbon dioxide from the environment through stomata, and the water absorbed from the roots goes in the chloroplast and and mix with it.
  • By which, the plant absorbs carbon dioxide and water.

☆ The stomata is located in the top part of leaf in a plant.

Hope it helps
