x=4

Explanation:

f(x) = 3x- 1 and g(x)=2x-3

f(2) means x=2

f(2) = 3(2)-1

f(2) = 6-1 =5

We want g(x) =5

5 = 2x-3

Add 3 to each side

5+3 = 2x-3+3

8 = 2x

Divide by 2

8/2 =2x/2

4=x

g(x) = f(2) when x=4
