Explanation:

Perimeter of the hexagon = 240cm

As the hexagon is a regular hexagon each and every side of the hexagon is equal.

A hexagon has 6 sides

Therefore, a side 'a' of the hexagon is

a = 240/6

a = 40cm

Area of a hexagon = (3√3)/2 × 40

= 3√3 × 20

= 60√3 cm²
