Explanation:

17 + 6 = 23 divide that by 2 and it equals 11.5 but you cant play a half of time so 11 + 11 = 22 and she will have 1 quarter left since games are 2 quarters to play.

She has 23 quarters.

Each games cost 2 quarters.

23/2 = 11.5

She can play 11 games and has 1 quarter leftover.
