Answer:

g = 8

Explanation:

This is a question of inverse proportion

g varies inversely as √h

g ∝ 1/√h

Where ∝ = proportional symbol

g =k/√h

Where k is constant

When:

g= 4

h =100

4= k/√100

4= k/10

k = 4×10 = 40

Hence the relationship between g and h :

g= 40/√h

To find g when h = 25, we would insert the new value of h in their relationship

g = 40/√25

g = 40/5

g = 8

Hence when h decreases, g increases and vice-versa.
