Answer:

The perimeter of the rectangle is 93.4m

Explanation:

F irst of all we have to calculate the width, for this we will use the area formula of a rectangle

a = area = 159.1m²

l = length = 3.7m

w = width

a = l * w

w = a / l

we replace the known values

w = 159.1m² / 3.7m

w = 43m

Now we use the formula to calculate perimeter of a rectangle

p = perimeter

w = width = 43m

l = length = 3.7m

p = 2w + lw

p = 2 * 43m + 2 * 3,7m

p = 86m + 7.4m

p = 93.4m

The perimeter of the rectangle is 93.4m
