The sum of two numbers is 27. The larger number is 6 more than twice the smaller number. Which system of equations can be used to find the two numbers

y=6+x

The answer is B

You have 2 numbers which can be represented by any variable, you know they are adding to 27 because it says sum.

It says 2 times a number and 6 more. So you have to look for the second equation that shows you multiplying by 2 and adding 6
