c = circumference

c = 2π * r

we replace with the known values

c = 2 * 3.14 * 10 in

c = 62.8 in

The length of the circumference is 62.8 in

Now we have to get the relation of the sector with the circle, for this we divide 45° by 360°

45° / 360° = 1/8

we multiply this fraction with the circumference and obtain the length of the arc

62.8 in * 1/8 = 7.85 in
