Answer:7.3cm

Explanation:

Volume=2500

π=3.14

volume of cylinder=πxr^2xh

2500=3.14xr^2x15

2500=47.1xr^2

r^2=2500/47.1

r^2=53.8

r=√(53.8)

r=7.3

Answer:

The radius of the can is 7.28 cm .

Explanation:

By our general knowledge, a "can" is a cylinder. It is given that the volume of can is 2500 cm³ and the height is 15 cm tall so we have to use the formula of volume of cylinder to find the radius :

v = \pi {r}^(2) h

Let r be radius, v be volume and h be height,

Let v = 2500 cm³,

Let h = 15 cm,

2500 = \pi * {r}^(2) * 15

\pi * {r}^(2) = 2500 / 15

\pi * {r}^(2) = (500)/(3)

{r}^(2) = (500)/(3\pi)

r = \sqrt{ (500)/(3\pi) }

r = 7.28 \: cm \: (3s.f)
