Answer: a = 3

Step-by-step explanation: when you multiply 6 by -3 you get -18 and if you add 16 you get -2

so the slope is -3 and the y-intercept is 16

so a*-3 + 16 = 7

by subtracting 16 on both sides you get

-3a = -9

and to get a by itself you divide -3 on both sides

a = -9/-3

a= 9/3

a = 3
