Answer:

The entanglement and ingestion of marine debris can cause injuries, diseases, suffocation, severe hunger and the death of marine organisms.

Step-by-step explanation:

The entanglement and ingestion of marine debris can cause injuries, diseases, suffocation, severe hunger and the death of marine organisms. This is because this debris, from the garbage thrown into the sea, can be mistaken for marine animals as food, or something new that arouses their curiosity.

As a result, marine organisms try to approach or eat this debris which ends up entangling themselves in their body, or being ingested, without the organism being able to direct.

Interlacingly, it leaves the marine organism trapped, which can cause worrying cuts, cause diseases and even strangulation.

The ingestion of this waste is also harmful, because the living organisms do not have the capacity to ingest this waste and as a result they develop diseases, and often end up starving.
