PLEASE HELP!!!!!! 20 POINTS!!!!!!

Read the following excerpt from The American Crisis. How does Paine develop his central idea from this point?

Tyranny is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. It would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Paine explains that standing up to tyranny, in this case Britain, is difficult. However, he argues that because it is so difficult, it will be that much more of an accomplishment when it is achieved. He argues that things that come easily are often taken for granted, whereas something like freedom is so very important that it is worth struggling to attain.
