the parallel lines L, M, N each equal 180 degrees

each degree on the left side is the same, and each on the right is the same

this may sound confusing but hear me out!!

since we know that one degree on the left side is 37, then 2x+5 must also equal 37

the equation would be 2x+5=37

minus 5 from both sides to get 2x=32

divide 2 from both sides to get x=16

the value of x should be 16

hope this helped!!
