Emma's grades are 100, 98, 94, 90, and 88. Emma decides not to study for the final because her grades are so high on all of the previous tests. Emma scores 64 on the final. As an outlier, how does 64 affect the mean of Emma's previous scores? Assume all scores are treated equally.

A) The outlier did not affect the mean.
B) The outlier raised the mean by 1 point.
C) The outlier lowered the mean by 5 points.
D) The outlier lowered the mean by 3 points
( please help, somehow I forgot how to do this lol)

Explanation:

find the average before the outlier : 94

after the outlier: 89
