Answer:

1) sin Ф = -3/5

cos Ф = -4/5, sec Ф = -5/4

tan Ф = 3/4, cot Ф = 4/3.

Explanation:

The fact that cos Ф is negative shows that Ф is in either the second or the third quadrant. Also as csc Ф is also negative this makes Ф to be in the third quadrant.

csc Ф = -5/3 so sin Ф = 1 / csc Ф = -3/5.

Now the right triangle formed for sin = 3/5 has hypotenuse = 5 and one leg = 3 so the other leg , by Pythagaros, = √(5^2 - 3^2) = 4,

so cos Ф = -4/5 ( as we are in third quadrant).

sec Ф = 1 / cos Ф = -5/4.

tan Ф = sin Ф / cos Ф = -3/-4 = 3/4 ( as we are in the third quadrant).

cot Ф = 1 / tan Ф = 4/3.

Looks like the second part is incomplete?
