Area=(1)/(2)* base* height

We know that,

12 inch = 1 ft

18 inch = 1.5 ft

So, area of triangular base is


A=(1)/(2)* 1.5* 2=1.5

Volume of triangular prism is


V=A* h

where, A is base area of h is height of the prism.


V=1.5* 3


V=4.5

Therefore, the volume of the triangular prism is 4.5 cubic ft.
