I need help showing my work for the following system by substitution:

Y = 4x - 2
Y = 3x + 6

y = 4x - 2 .........(eqn1)\\ y = 3x + 6.........(eqn2) \\ sub \: 1 \: in \: eqn \: 2 \\ y = 3x + 6 \\ 4x - 2 = 3x + 6 \\ 4x - 3x = 6 + 2 \\ x = 8 \\ sub \: x \: in \: eqn \: 2 \\ y = 3x + 6 \\ y = 3(8) + 6 \\ y = 24 + 6 \\ y = 30
