Answer:

vertex : (1, -25) x-intercepts: x = 6 , x = -4

Explanation:

y = x^2 - 2x - 24

rewriting this in vertex form:

y = xx - 2x + 1 - 1 - 24

y = (x - 1)^2 - 25

vertex is at (1, -25)

intercepts...

0 = (x - 1)^2 - 25

5 = x - 1

or - 5 = x - 1

x = 6 or x = -4
