Two people working together can complete a job in 6 hours. If one of them

works twice as fast as the other how long would it take the faster person
to do the job working alone?

2 hours

Explanation:

1 person = 6 hours

1+2 person = ? hours

To get the answer, the equation is,

3 person = 6/3

= 2

so, 3 person = 2 hours

Well, the person would be working 2 hours so twice as fast would be 4 hours. So I’m guessing it would take 8 hours
