Answer: They cope with the routine repression and degradation of life on the plantation by resisting slavery through everyday act, while sometime plotting bigger revolt. They also sometime created religion combining elements of Christianity and West African traditions and spiritual beliefs. Telling stories, and make entertainment themselves.
