x = 2y + 11

The correct answer would be D, (3,-4). For the first equation, x=2y+11 would be 3=2(-4)+11 which turns to 3=-8+11 which equals 3=3 so it’s true. For the second equation, 7x+2y=13 which becomes 7(3)+2(-4)=13 making it 21-8=13 which turns into 13=13 so this is true as well.
