Then erase the graph for x = 2 or greater.

Next, look at the function g(x) = -x. This is a decreasting ramp function with slope -1 and y-intercept (0, 0). Plot a dark, solid dot at (2, -2). Now draw a line from that dot towards the right with slope of -1.

Note that the two parts of this composite graph meet at (2,2) and that the graph is continuous (has no breaks).
