the correct answer is D. 14x + 150
here is how you get that answer:
*start with the original equation: 3(x-5)+11(x+15)
*distribute into parentheses (multiply): 3x-15+11x+165
*combine like terms: 3x+11x and -15+165
*answer: 14x + 150
