ok the easiest way yo solve equations like this is to not consider it hard because it is has both letters and numbers.

two would be to find out what we are looking for which is y, the variable in this equation. now the best way to solve for why is to isolate y.

so; 15+y=30

to isolate y you have to subtract 15 from both ends of the equation.

now that y is isolated, you can now find the answer:

y= 30 - 15

y= 15
