The height of the tank is 13, the water level is 3 inches below that so the height of the water would be 10 (13-3 = 10)

volume = length x width x height:

Volume = 24 x 8 x 10 = 1,920 cubic inches

1 gallon = 231 cubic in.

1920/231 = 8.31 gallons
