Hester is arranging her vase collection on a bookshelf. She wants to minimize the total gravitational potential energy of the vases and shelf unit. Assuming she can only put one item on a shelf and the shelves are equidistant apart , what would be the best method of arranging the items?
Select one
1. Put the items in ascending order of weight going from the top shelf to the bottom
2. Put the heaviest items on the middle shelves and the lighter items on top and bottom
3. Put me lightest on te middle shelves and heavier items on top and bottom
4. Put the items in descending order weight going from the top shelf to bottom
